Hey, I’m Max! I’m 23, recently graduated BSc Public Governance at Utrecht University, and I am a freelance photographer based in Utrecht, the Netherlands. Soon, I wil be starting the MSc Gov. of Sustainability Transformations at Wageningen University and Research, which I am very much looking forward to! When I’m not juggling that, I’m probably messing around on a guitar, hunting down good coffee, or catching up with friends and family.
Photography has been my creative outlet since I was 14, starting with my parents' old compact camera. What started as just playing around turned into something bigger – since then I have practically traded a kidney for gear, have built a solid online presence, collaborated with brands, and launched my own photography business, all in just a few years.
Outside of photography, I’ve got a mix of other things that keep me going: training for a marathon, reading, surfing, snowboarding or other sports involving something tied to my feet, and sometimes being a wee bit too passionate about sustainability.
